What You'll Do:
As a Director of Supply Chain, you will research, develop, lead, and manage the supply chain strategies and processes, to ensure product quality, cost, and due dates meet or exceed customer and business goals.
Your Accountabilities in the Role:
- Researches, develops, leads and manages the overall supply chain strategy, from purchasing to end product delivery, to ensure a high-quality product.
- Maintains and reduces inventory according to SKUs on a regular basis, to ensure target inventory and accurate storage is met.
- Plans and assists with the purchasing and pricing of cattle and/or boxed material to ensure inventory targets are maintained.
- Develops new strategies and supplier agreements to meet or exceed cost budgets and increase alternative sources, product quality, delivery, and value throughout the supply chain process for a sustainable, efficient process.
- Leads, trains, mentors and coaches the team to execute activities in a way that will ensure goals are achieved, while growing the skillsets of the team.
- Collaborates with Inventory Supervisor for a best practice approach and to ensure inventory goals are being achieved.
- Builds and maintains relationships with vendors and freight carriers to handle all issues effectively to ensure products are delivered on-time, within budget and according to customer specifications.
- Manages and leads the Key Performance Indicators for the areas, ensuring the team is achieving the monthly goals and/or setting countermeasures and development activities for underperforming areas.
- Supports other related business and activities for the benefit of the Company, department, and team.
Position Requirements:
Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or similar; will consider an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: 5-7 years of Management experience in a Purchasing/Supply Chain function related to meat processing, farming, agriculture, E-Commerce, manufacturing or related industries.
- Certifications: N/a
- Functional Skills: Strong research, planning, organizing, and execution skills required; forward-thinking with strong analytical and critical thinking ability; strong business acumen to ensure a smooth and effective supply chain process that produces quality products, within cost, and on-time delivery; high attention to details and accuracy with large amounts of data and numbers; advanced problem-solver; with a strong ability to conceptualize and create enhancements.
- Technology Aptitude/Skills: Advanced ability with ERP systems, Microsoft Office products, Excel and Google Sheets needed.
- Language Skills: Strong verbal and written skillset; able to present and influence others.

Other Important Information:
Position Pay: $100,000-$120,000 per year with potential for bonus.
Reports To: Brandt (COO)
Core Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (Hours can be flexible as needed)
Typical Work Week: Monday to Friday; in office 4 days/week; 40-45 hours/week (May be a few more hours during training period)
Direct Reports: 1 Supply Chain Manager
Work Conditions: Office/warehouse environment with occasional travel to meat processor vendors.
Travel: Limited travel required
