Job Overview:
The Sales & Procurement Assistant is responsible for facilitating LCI’s parts sales, and assisting the Purchasing and Vendor Administrator as required. This position requires someone who is proficient with Microsoft Office, understands Quantum, and is able to keep up with industry trends. This person also manages their time effectively, is detail oriented, and has excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
· Responsible for the timely and accurate response to all parts RFQs, while being courteous to the customer.
· Generates Sales Orders, and provides customers with all required paperwork for parts being sold.
· Searching the market for parts purchase opportunities to promote growth in sales.
· Understand market trends to establish competitive market pricing, as well as understanding fast moving inventory items for acquisition and sale.
· Seeks out parts needs from different customers, and establishes relationships to promote sales.
· Understands the customer’s operations, requirements, plans, schedule, and needs.
· Monitors parts sales goals, and progress on achieving the goals.
· Assists the Purchasing & Vendor Administrator with creating Purchase and Repair Orders for internal projects in work, as well as procuring any additional supplies as required.
· Assists the Director of Sales & Marketing with acquisition opportunities, engine, and asset evaluations.
· Answers phone calls in a prompt, polite, and respectful manner, transfer to the appropriate person if available, and take messages.
· Assist with general office duties to include keeping track of office supplies, maintaining a clean organized office space, and making sure the kitchen/break room is kept clean and organized.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
