The Position:
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Controller to assist with the operations of the Financial Services Department.

Works collaboratively with accounting staff to meet department goals, objective and timelines.

Evaluate, apply and refine policies, procedures and internal controls.

Prepare semi-monthly payroll for assigned facilities.

Coordinate with accounting staff and communities to prepare and submit re-credentialing applications as required by various payors.

Assist with tax related request.
Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or combination of relevant education and experience.

Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), financial statement preparation, and payroll.

Four (4) years of financial accounting experience, including supervision of staff.

Ability to collaborate with representatives from all areas of the Company.

Public accounting and healthcare experience preferred.
