Quality Control Inspector
Summary:
Promote quality management throughout the plant to assure product quality levels are consistent with corporate standards and that the products and technical services meet customer expectations. Continual improvement of manufacturing processes to increase quality, reduce waste, and improve efficiencies. Satisfy regulatory agency requirements and reduce product liability by managing the corporate quality program at the local level.
Essential duties and responsibilities: Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Does 24 hour drop area inspections, also including hydro tester drop area.
- Performs the following test:
- Flattening/stiffness
- Impact Tests
- Quick Burst Test
- Packages or boxes test samples for mailing.
- Uses calipers, dial gauges, OD tape, plug gauges and other hand measurement tools as required.
- Maintains good housekeeping at all times.
- Performs other miscellaneous jobs as directed.
- Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. 2+ years experience in production of product, experience working with QC functions preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
