QIDP (Case Manager): **$500 sign on bonus**
We have a QIDP (Case manager) position opening available. Qualifications include a Bachelors degree in human services field including but not limited to sociology, special education, rehabilitation, counseling or psychology. You also need one year experience working directly with individuals with Intellectual or other developmental disabilities. DEFINITION: This is a full-time skilled Non-Union position under the direct supervision of the Resident Services Director and Assistant Resident Services Director. This position is classified as Non-Exempt for the purpose of the Fair Labor Standards Act. As the QIDP (Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional) you are responsible for taking into consideration the needs, wants, and desires of each individual as you develop, monitor, and advocate for residents and you create appropriate individualized habilitation plans. These plans are important tools for assisting individuals with Developmental Disabilities in reaching and maintaining their maximum potential. As a QIDP, you are responsible to ensure that residents assigned to your caseload are provided the appropriate kind and quality of services consistent with their individual needs and to ensure that those services are effectively and efficiently coordinated.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Minimum Bachelors Degree required in Human Services related field and must meet the qualifications of QIDP.
· One year experience working with the Developmentally Disabled.
· Demonstrate counseling, administrative and organizational skills.
· Must be authorized to work in the United States.
· Must be able to report to work on time and to perform the duties of the job for the entire workday.
· Must be able to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with other employees and to effectively communicate with the public.
· Must have valid Driver’s License.
· Must maintain CPR, First Aid, and Mandt Certification.
· Is familiar with and adheres to all applicable Golfview Developmental Center policies and procedures.
Is familiar with and adheres to all applicable State and Federal regulations and professional standards.
