We are looking for two special, understanding, kind, patient, caring, and generous individuals ready to hit the streets and pound the pavement to bring our homeless shelter services outside. What we do inside for our guests will be done for new guests outside, meeting them where they are at. Be prepared to work in all types of weather and provide compassion to unhoused individuals, but best of all meet some very amazing people and change lives. Responsibilities:
-Offer stabilization referral services to include, at minimum: emergency shelter, Case Management services, housing search assistance, public benefits, social services, health services (including behavioral health), employment services, permanent housing, and day shelter programs.
- Develop and implement outreach strategies to increase awareness and engagement with the organization's mission and programs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create and execute effective outreach campaigns.
- Track and analyze outreach efforts to measure effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to outreach, such as maintaining databases and preparing reports
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Understanding of homeless population needs and mental health
- Proven experience in homeless outreach, community engagement, or related roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in using technology for outreach purposes.
