The Morgan Law Group, P.A. is a law firm specializing in the area of representing homeowners, businesses, homeowners’ associations and condominium associations with their property insurance claims.
We are looking for a self motivated paralegal with at least 3 years of experience to ensure smooth running of the office and effective case management. You will provide a broad spectrum of legal services under the supervision of an attorney.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to lawyers and enhance office effectiveness
- Handle communication with clients, witnesses etc.
- Maintain contact lists and regularly update files via Clio
- Monitor deadlines and juggle calendars
- Manage and maintain multiple attorneys' schedules
- Draft and file Notices, Motions, Subpoenas, & responses to Discovery requests
- Communicate with defense counsels and judicial assistants
Skills
- Proven working experience as a paralegal-- at least 3 years
- Familiarity with law, legal procedures and protocols, and court system
- Satisfactory knowledge of day-to-day operations of a legal office
- Computer literacy
- Working knowledge of case management software
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to juggle multiple activities and work under pressure
