Position Overview
This professional position will support department-wide efficiency and modernization initiatives; manage the collection, modeling, and analysis of extensive data; develop analysis and reporting capabilities; perform administrative tasks and oversee specialized projects; provide analytical support to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Business Services and Chief Procurement Officer. The position encourages innovation and the ability to build upon current processes, as well identify issues or problems and research solutions within specific management areas. Work is performed with limited supervision.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field; and five years' of highly responsible data analysis, finance, budgeting and/or business management experience; or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.

Job Duties:
- Strategic Planning and Data Analytics:
- Collect, model, and analyze metrics, covering topics related to functional area.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases.
- Develop and prepare reports of key performance indicators, including graphical display and advanced spreadsheets.
- Improve data integrity and analytical reporting capacity: Identify, collect, and report on key performance indicators and meaningful metrics.
- Consolidate data from multiple sources into executive level reports and presentations.
- Support with strategic planning, goal setting, and measurement.
- Conducts cost studies and oversees preparation of statistical reports.
- Administrative Services:
- Make purchases using P-Card and E-Pro requisition system.
- Prepare sensitive and multi-faceted reports and correspondence under tight time constraints.
- Perform and oversee special projects that are highly sensitive or complex in nature, requiring a high level of independence and initiative in execution and implementation.
- Draft, proof, format, and disseminate reports, internal and external correspondence, and memoranda.
- Participate in department meetings and communicate pertinent information to staff.
- Manage other duties and projects as requested.
