Role Objective:
To deliver exceptional tumbling instruction to athletes of all levels, from beginners to advanced, fostering skill development, confidence, and progress, while ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
General:
- Adhere to and enforce strict safety protocols for all tumbling activities, ensuring the well-being of all participants.
- Provide personalized feedback and guidance to athletes, helping them set and achieve their tumbling goals.
- Stay abreast of the latest tumbling techniques, trends, and safety standards to enhance the quality of instruction.
- Participate in community events and gym promotions to foster a sense of belonging and community among athletes and families.
Tumbling:
- Conduct tumbling sessions for individuals and groups, tailoring instruction to meet the diverse needs and skill levels of participants.
- Design and implement skill development plans for athletes, ensuring a clear progression path from basic to advanced tumbling skills.
- Monitor and evaluate athlete progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting training methods to optimize individual growth and achievement.
- Engage in continuous professional development to maintain and enhance coaching skills, including attending workshops, certifications, and coaching clinics relevant to tumbling and gymnastics.
- Assist in the maintenance and setup of tumbling equipment, ensuring a safe and effective training environment.
- Collaborate with the coaching team to align training methodologies and share best practices, contributing to the overall success of the gym's programs.
- Be a proactive and positive presence in the gym, inspiring athletes through dedication, enthusiasm, and a commitment to excellence in tumbling.
Requirements:
- Over 18 Years old
- Proven experience in tumbling instruction, with a strong foundation in gymnastics or cheerleading preferred.
- Certifications in tumbling, gymnastics, or related fields are highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire athletes of all ages and skill levels.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development in tumbling coaching and safety.
- Proven ability in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
- Must pass a background check.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
