Job Title: Program Director - Washington Elementary Site
Hours: Monday - Friday, 1:30 - 6:30pm, 25 Hours per week

Primary Function of the Program Director:
- Ensure a fun and safe environment for school-age youth. Plan, develop, oversee implementation and supervise programs and program staff in a school-age youth development setting. Responsible for overseeing the delivery of programs in the areas of Academic Success, Good Character & Citizenship and Healthy Lifestyles.
Skills/Knowledge Required for Program Director:
- Ability to be certified for at least 60 children: Ninety (90) college semester hours. 18 of 90 hours must be in child-related courses: or thirty six months experience and 18 college semester hours in child related courses.
- A minimum of one year work experience in a Boys or Girls Club or similar organization planning and supervising activities based on the developmental needs of young people.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Group leadership skills, including an understanding of group dynamics.
- Demonstrated organizational, staff and project management abilities.
- Mandatory CPR and First Aid Certifications (Club will provide this training as needed).
