The Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of all Anderson Center for Autism consumers; both in and around the pool.
The pool is scheduled to open Memorial Day.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prevent accidents by ensuring pool rules are followed.

Maintain proper pool attendance.

Bather interactions.
-
Lifeguard will use whistle and verbal prompt to alert students to comply with pool rules.

When the student does not comply with this alert, the lifeguard will advise program staff to intervene.
-
Monitor and maintain pool chlorine and pH and the cleanliness of pool and surrounding areas.
-
Secure pool when closed.
REQUIREMENTS:

Must be 16 years of age.

Water Safety Instructor, First Aid, CPR certifications required.

Must be a certified Lifeguard.
