We are looking to add a performance-driven, highly motivated recruiter sharing the orientation facilitator role to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and strongly desire to learn, grow, and develop as a recruiting professional while working in the fast-paced, transportation industry. The positions’ primary function is to quickly and effectively onboard all new drivers.
As a quality focused Driver Recruiter, you will act as the initial point of contact for Driver candidates and will introduce program offerings and career opportunities within our organization. With a sales mindset, Recruiters answer incoming calls, make outbound calls, and respond to various recruiting leads. You will continue to support them through Orientation and throughout their careers so they have reason to share a positive experience with others in the driving community.
The role of the Orientation Facilitator is to facilitate the new driver orientation on a weekly basis. The facilitator’s role is to also ensure the orientation process runs smoothly and according to schedule, as well as ensuring new drivers receive the required training for company, state and federal policies and guidelines.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Ensure that all required applicant documentation is completed throughout the recruiting process.
- Run necessary background reports for prospective drivers: MVR, PSP, DAC, employment history, and other relevant background investigations.
- Schedule, pre-employment drug screens, and DOT physicals
- Gather all required documentation for the driver onboarding process.
- Actively source and manages driver leads via inbound and outbound calls, cold calls, social media, internet databases and associate referrals.
- Achieve company hiring goals in a timely manner to maintain seated truck count.
- Retains and engages driver leads to keep interest level for future roles.
- Schedules and confirms orientation start dates and assists with travel arrangements.
- Facilitate Zeller Transportation new driver orientation training.
· Ensure new drivers properly complete company required paperwork.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
· High School Diploma or equivalent, or relevant work experience
- Previous sales or high-volume recruiting experience is preferred, but not required.
- Must be comfortable making outbound calls and possess a high sense of urgency
- Answer phone calls and respond to texts, and other leads
- Excellent communication skills (reading, writing, listening, responding, following up)
- Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
· Familiarity with: Tenstreet, Samsara, Clearing House, PSP, MVR, Hireright
- Ability to have a flexible schedule including some nights and weekends
- Using discretion regarding sensitive information
