As a BCBA at Behavior Plan Licensed Behavior Analyst, you will take a pivotal role in designing, developing, and monitoring behavior analysis services tailored to the unique needs of individuals with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough assessments, instructing staff, developing comprehensive treatment plans, and providing direct supervision to behavioral technicians. This position requires active collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, caregivers, and related service providers to ensure skill acquisition, behavioral guidance, and the creation of sustained positive change in our clients' lives. + Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and refine individualized behavior programs in natural settings for clients with ASD, ensuring programs are effective and meet individualized goals.
- Conduct regular supervision sessions to assess the impact of programs, gather data, and provide education/support to families and staff.
- Collaborate closely with the care team, observing sessions to offer clinical support and coaching, and ensuring treatment fidelity.
- Analyze data and feedback from the care team to continually adapt and update treatment plans, aligning with each client’s developmental progress.
- Develop treatment objectives and comprehensive plans, working under the guidance of senior BCBAs.
- Fulfill billable hour quotas for each case, balancing the need for effective service delivery with operational efficiency.
- Complete all required documentation, including session notes, progress reports, and assessment summaries, punctually at the end of each session or day.
- Hold monthly progress meetings with families and actively participate in staff development, training, and strategic planning sessions.
- Oversee and verify the accuracy and efficacy of documentation prepared by behavioral technicians, including daily notes and incident reports.
- Remain up to date of the latest research and advancements in behavior analysis to inform practice and enhance service quality.
- Employ behavior skills training to educate staff on executing tailored intervention plans, emphasizing skill acquisition, behavior management, and social integration.
- Systematically collect and analyze data on client and staff performance, adjusting strategies to optimize outcomes.
- Establish and uphold positive behavioral practices that promote skill development and align with clients’ personal objectives.
- React promptly and competently to behavioral crises, adhering to established and updating BIP and crisis management protocols.
- Foster and maintain constructive relationships with clients, families, and staff, aiding in the achievement of therapeutic and personal goals.
- Instruct new staff in ABA fundamentals and job-specific responsibilities, ensuring a well-trained and competent workforce.
- Ensure strict attendance and punctuality, adhering to organizational policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular supervisory and team meetings to evaluate client progress, integrate feedback, and maintain program integrity.
- Participate in performance evaluations and the development of action plans for supervised staff, addressing any disciplinary issues as needed.
- Support and lead caregiver meetings, facilitating open communication and collaborative problem-solving.
- Adhere to BACB ethical guidelines and professional standards, maintaining client confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Carry out comprehensive behavioral assessments, crafting, executing, and overseeing individualized BIPs, drawing from evidence-based practices and continuous assessment.
- Mentor and supervise Behavior Technicians, RBTs, and LLBAs advocating for excellence in service delivery and ethical practice.
- Engage in continual professional development to stay informed on best practices and innovations in behavior analysis.
- Utilize and maintain Chorus Notes app.
- Maintain active BCBA certification and License.
- Maintain all annual required trainings by due dates.
- Assume RBT responsibilities when necessary.
- Adhere to the ethical guidelines and standards of practice set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Adhere to HIPAA and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.

+ Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field.
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- Completed 8-hour supervision training
- New York State Behavior Analyst License
- Proven experience in designing and implementing comprehensive behavioral interventions for individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Experience in applied behavior analysis and working with individuals with developmental disorders.
- Experience working with children and/or individuals with disabilities.
- Demonstrated strengths in providing strong analytic services, with a keen ability to synthesize complex data and generate action plans.
- Exceptional independent thinking and problem-solving skills, capable of navigating challenging situations and developing innovative solutions.
- Strong leadership skills and experience in supervising and mentoring a team of behavioral technicians and LLBA’s.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and report writing.
- Understanding of the use and application of standardized and criterion-referenced assessment tools
- Commitment to ethical practice and continuous professional development.
- Reliable mobile device for data collection and analysis.
- Valid Driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and own vehicle to transport you to your sessions or reliable access to public transportation.

- Ability to modulate energy levels to align with the needs of each client, ensuring engagement and effective interaction. This includes dynamically adjusting to high-energy clients requiring active, stimulating activities, as well as providing calm, focused attention for those needing quieter, more sedentary interaction.
- Ability to be in a seated position for periods of time up to 2 hours.
- Ability to lift up to 50 LBS.
- Ability to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended period of time.
