RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides individual, group, couple, and family therapy. Services are conducted both in the field and the office as appropriate.
Conduct intake evaluations. Provide both rehabilitative and targeted case management services.
Provide Officer-of-the-Day (OD) coverage.
Complete all required documentation, report writing and correspondence within mandated time frames, established by the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health and the Center. Complete all outcome measures.
Work collaboratively with both the Psychiatric Consultant (s) and/or the team’s LPT in order to address medication issues.
Work collaboratively with LPS designated staff in addressing crisis situations in the office and the field. Assist LPS designated staff in facilitating and arranging hospitalization.
Conduct outreach and engagement activities. Provide support, consultation, and referrals to community members and providers.
Attend in-service training as assigned by supervisor. Submit weekly schedule/field itinerary.
The ideal candidate must have a master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field. Possess a current waiver or registration from the Board of Psychology or the Board of Behavioral Sciences. Waiver or registration must be in good standing.
Current NPI number.
Have a good driving record and be insurable by the Center’s automobile insurance carrier. Attend Center’s Driver’s Safety course.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.
