Leading Freight Forwarder / NVOCC/ Customs House Broker/ Tank Container Operator, with locations in 24 countries and over 3300 employees strong, is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the position of Senior Sales Support Specialist in our Houston, TX office.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
- Work in close collaboration with the Sales team to pursue new business opportunities including pricing strategies, e.g. quotes, contracts, etc.
- Aligned to 2-4 National Account Managers
- Responsible for spot quotes generated by the NAM customers
- Coordinating Kick-off calls for major tenders with major stakeholders
- Ensuring SOP’s both internal (with buy and sell rates) and external are completed
- Coordinate Implementation and Onboarding call with the customer
- Monitor CRM Sales funnel process – checking for expired and overdue opportunities
- Complete a post tender customer review with the customer and major stakeholders
- Measure monthly quote log to define success and failures with procurement pricing
- Using Sales Analysis and designated CRM to generate reports, manage data and effectively analyze results. Maintaining appropriate notes in the designated CRM (Sales Force).
- Utilizes proprietary system (GPM) for rate and quote management: Entry and retrieval of data.
- Assisting in the identification and qualifying of existing customers for new solutions and expansion of existing business with established regional sales plans.
- Developing and maintaining opportunities across the service portfolio.
- Implementing client programs, monitoring utilization, facilitates client access, and assist with quarterly and/or semi-annual business reviews.
- Developing and sustaining strong ethical and personable relationships with key customers in order to better address customer needs and promote solutions.
- Providing feedback and information on competitive activity, changes in markets, pricing, etc.
- Understanding and complying with ethical, legal and regulatory requirements applicable to our business.
- Assists sales with customer contact in order to help the sales person obtain information and/ or appointments.
- Acquires data from various sources such as OLAP, Panjiva, etc supporting KPI tracking.
- Assist in the preparation of customer performance reviews.
- Completes quotes or rates sheets in coordination with Sales.
- Assists with notification of changes in the market and rates to the global team.
- Works with other operational departments to assist with customer inquiries as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Must have minimum 2-4 years of experience in Supply Chain and Logistics
- Must possess excellent organizational skills
- Must possess the ability in problem-solving and experience in managing customer complaints
- Must have the ability multi-task and to deal with dynamic problems and variables.
- Must be able to prioritize workload, work independently, be a team player and work in a fast paced environment
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must have strong computer skills and experience in Microsoft Office Products
- Bilingual ability in Spanish a plus.
