Lead Business Development Charlotte – MFG Vertical
The Business Development Lead position is a key growth and transformation role within the Consulting Company’s Market Unit responsible for driving and executing Business Development strategies to acquire target clients across various industries.
This is a proactive demand generation and selling role aimed at acquiring new clients with US$5Bil+ in annual revenues.
The candidate will leverage the company’s entire portfolio of services for targeted firms while working collaboratively with other market development, solutions teams and industry SMEs to create demand and capture qualified opportunities.
Job Description:
Create new business opportunities for Mfg. vertical, including new logo acquisitions and growing select existing relationships. Mfg. vertical has both discrete and process industries.
Generate demand for the portfolio of solutions and services in Mfg. industry vertical.
Establish cross-functional CXO relationships and generate overall market momentum for the Consulting Company in the identified pursuit portfolio.
Engage with the Consulting Company’s ecosystem to proactively shape large deals for the target segment/set of accounts.
Achieve growth targets, originate deals, and acquire new logos through proactive demand generation, consultative selling, and thought leadership to our prospects throughout their buying journey.
Qualifications:
- Min 12-15 years of overall selling experience with majority experience in Mfg. vertical, preferably in the Georgia, Florida, and Carolina areas.
- Preferably should have worked in a leading IT services/consulting firm with experience in collaborating across global teams.
- Additionally, direct industry experience of working in Mfg. companies is a plus
Base $180k - $220k

Pay: $180,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year

Experience:
- Sales in the Mfg vertical: 10 years (Required)
- IT Services/Consulting firm: 8 years (Preferred)
- working directly in Mfr company: 8 years (Preferred)
- bus ops in Mfr vertical for new logo: 10 years (Required)
- Mfg. vertical has both discrete and process industries.: 10 years (Required)
Ability to Relocate:
- Charlotte, NC: Relocate before starting work (Required)
