Founded in 1994, the firm employs approximately 80 people and manages approximately $7 billion in private client and institutional assets in separate accounts, ETFs, mutual funds and private investment funds.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Information Technology Analyst
The firm is looking to hire a full-time Information Technology Analyst responsible for assisting in the coordination of all areas of the Technology Department, including help desk support, technology operations, infrastructure, vendor management, product support, information security, end-user training and business continuity planning and implementation. This position requires three full days in the NYC office. Onsite may increase depending on the needs of the business.
PRINCIPAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Take ownership in troubleshooting issues with help desk personnel. Work directly with end users and see issues to completion.
- Provide daily onsite support at our midtown Manhattan office at a minimum of 3 days per week.
- Customize, upgrade, test, support and end-user training for remote access, CRM, document management, trading systems and cloud platforms including Microsoft 365 and Citrix.
- Customize and support daily file feeds, reports, and Excel VBA macros.
- Assist in ongoing process of system patching and overall IT operations. Lead support vendor in ongoing patching process during a specified rotation which may include some off-hours work.
- Involvement in product evaluations and implementations. Document business requirements, vendor selection, product customization and implementation, rollout and end-user training.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Excel VBA scripting, Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Citrix experience.
- Understanding of business and security practices.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills with ability to collaborate and work independently as demanded by job.
- Ability to work with senior and executive level team members.
- Analytical mindset, critical thinking and trouble shooting skills.
- Must be highly motivated, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree with major in Computer Science or Information Systems required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience, with financial services a plus.
- Ability to work some off-hours (nights/weekends) as required for technical support, rollouts, and upgrades.
- Role is based out of mid-town Manhattan. Requires onsite a minimum of 3 days per
week. (Onsite may increase based on business demands and needs).
