Overview:
The basic function of the Warehouse Coordinator is to receive, package, and locate for storage all incoming spare parts, placing on shelves or in drawers, retrieving items for shipping, package and prepare materials for shipment via various means.. This work will be performed under general supervision in Texas City, TX. Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Maintain Shipping and receiving.
- Accounting for inventory in an SAP program.
- Requisitioning parts and materials
- Cycle and inventory count
- Hazmat shipping.
- Handling of parts both small and large up to 50 lbs.
- Forklift and pallet jack operation.
- Maintain inventory of consumable items.
- General housekeeping.
- Properly receiving shipments.
- Appropriately disassemble kits and return cleaned and/or unused items to designated storage location.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor degree preferred.
- Requires at least 2 years of relevant industrial experience.
- Strong personal safety philosophy
- Computer skills Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- SAP experience is a plus.
- Must be team oriented, well organized, and have a willingness to learn and further develop technical skills.
- Ability to lift and move awkward and/or heavy parts and packages up to 50 lbs. in weight.
- Attention to detail to perform tasks in a safe, error-free manner.
- Perform tasks effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
