We are excited to recruit for a full-time opening for a Textile Segment Specialist in Gardena, CA. This position will be a passionate advocate for Mimaki products, supporting sales activities in the Textile & Apparel business segment. They will conduct thorough market research to identify potential customers and market trends, analyzing competitive and complementary products and services. Based on this analysis, they'll develop strategic plans for pricing and promotions, crafting and executing integrated marketing campaigns for product introductions. Additionally, they will provide valuable training to both sales teams and customers, equipping them with in-depth knowledge of Mimaki products and end-to-end solutions.

Job Description:
- Develop subject matter expertise in Mimaki Textile product portfolio.
- Support the profit and loss responsibility for a key business segment within the division.
- Analyze industry trends, customer activity, and product applications to determine sales and profit potential and understand opportunities resulting from changing conditions.
- Analyze market data (product sales, volume, demographics, competitor/complementary products) to recommend pricing and marketing strategies for product lines.
- Participate in the development and generation of marketing reports as they pertain to the segment.
- Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for Mimaki product lines. Collaborate with management, sales, and other teams to ensure alignment across the organization.
- Develop the strategic process of providing sales teams with the resources, tools, knowledge, and support needed to engage buyers effectively and close deals such as: Product presentations, Case studies, Competitive battlecards, Pricing guides, White papers, Demonstration videos and Sell sheets.
- Foster collaboration between sales, marketing, and product teams, ensuring a smooth handoff of qualified leads, consistent messaging, and effective follow-through.
- Create and support programs that inform and support distributors, sales teams, and end-users and drive revenue such as training, events, and tradeshows.
- Develop compelling messaging and content, positioning materials, and value propositions that resonate with target audiences and highlight the unique benefits of Mimaki products.
- Oversee the creation of marketing assets such as product brochures, videos, case studies, and website content.
- Support on-site events such as tradeshows, open houses, dealer events, etc.
- Proactively seek clarification on new assignments from Senior Management, then operate with autonomy to complete day-to-day tasks.
- Up to 75% travel, including weekend and possible international travel.
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in in an applications, sales, or segment marketing role specifically focused on production inkjet solutions within the printing industry.
- Understanding of inkjet printing technology, market trends, and competitive landscape.
· Strong experience with multiple textile imaging processes, such as Dye Sublimation, Disperse Dye, Reactive Dye, Pigment, Acid Pigment, and Direct-To-Film (DTF), as well as pre- and post-fabric treatment and Sublimation Transfer process experience on both soft and hard substrates.
· Fluency in textile RIP workflows such as RasterLink, TxLink, and Ergosoft is a must.
· Color management and ICC profile creation for textile media are a plus.
· Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Passion for technology and emerging trends.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Graphic production workflow and color management software knowledge are desirable.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Power BI are a plus.
- Must have valid driver’s license and comfortable driving own car.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
