Job description
We have hybrid system which allows students to learn with live instructions alongside with the in person teaching by our physical teachers in campus. We use CCA;
The Commonwealth Charter Academy (CCA) is a public cyber charter school in Pennsylvania, offering an alternative to traditional public schooling. Here's a brief overview of how it works:
1. Online Education: CCA provides education primarily through online platforms. Students from across Pennsylvania can enroll and attend school virtually from home. This is especially beneficial for students who need a flexible schedule, or prefer a self-paced learning environment.
2. Curriculum and Instruction: The school offers a standard curriculum that meets state education standards. It includes core subjects like math, science, English, and social studies, along with various electives. Instruction is delivered through a combination of live online classes and pre-recorded sessions.
3. Student Support: CCA provides extensive support services, including special education, counseling, and tutoring. Teachers and staff are accessible for additional help and guidance.
4. Technology and Resources: Students are provided with the necessary technology, such as laptops and internet access, to facilitate their online learning. They also have access to physical resource centers for additional learning support.
In addition to CCA's online educational resources, we also provide in-person teaching with our dedicated teachers who are responsible for the grading system (grading is done by CCA, Candidate does not deal with grading) . They ensure that every student fully understands the subjects and regularly check each student's progress individually. If necessary, they explain topics either one-on-one or to the entire group using board demonstrations. Teachers actively encourage and motivate students.
Candidates for this role must possess strong class management and conflict resolution skills, alongside leadership qualities. Excellent communication, social, and emotional intelligence are crucial. A continual willingness to learn, try new methods, seek additional resources to enhance quality, resilience, creativity, confidence, goal-setting abilities, and skills in influencing and persuading are also important.
