Full Job Description

American Autowire is looking for a 'Digital Sales Representative' responsible for creating and administering content and engaging customers on all social media platforms to grow an audience and build brand awareness. This individual will build and execute a social media strategy through competitor research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification. The team member will be local to Bellmawr and on-site five days a week. A hybrid option is available once trained, assuming the company (American Autowire) moves to a hybrid schedule for all team members.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Maintaining the same product knowledge and customer service acumen as Sales/Tech teammates.
Work hours are 8 am - 5 pm, Monday through Friday with occasional travel and weekend hours needed to represent AAW at car and trade show events.
Social Media Engagement, responding to users' questions and messages on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and future platforms such as Reddit (pending creation of a Subreddit and advertisements) and sponsored forums.
Monitor non-sponsored forums for potential sponsorship and market viability for AAW expansion.
Email management, responding to or forwarding customer contact emails.
Act as the face of the company during trade shows and industry events. Engage with booth visitors, providing information about the company's products.
Attending shows with peers, capturing customer testimonials, and taking vehicle photos.
Lead the SEMA Wired By campaign, photograph vehicles, and interact with builders.
Organize customer product feedback collected by the Sales Team, track product suggestions (new and improvements), and generate a monthly summary for Sales and R&D use.
Responding to web chat sales queries.
Maintaining strong relationships with potential and existing customers.
Use various channels to generate new business, such as cold calling, email outreach, and attending industry events
Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
At least 2-3 years of experience in digital marketing, social media management, and sales support.
Automotive industry experience, particularly with automotive electrical systems, is highly desirable.
Knowledgeable in display panel creation, graphic design for displays, or video animation. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator is a plus, but a willingness to learn is also welcomed.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Must be able to travel for work - attending automotive trade shows.
Able to stand on your feet for prolonged periods.
Primary work environment is an office setting, requiring prolonged periods of sitting and computer use.
Occasionally required to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds, such as promotional materials or equipment for trade shows.
