The Production Coordinator will be responsible for the following:
- Work with the Supervisor to identify processes that require improvement Material flow, line support, 5S.
- Shift review with leadership team to include visual management and inventory logistics deviations
- Coordinate training, work schedules and assignments and conduct shift transition meetings
- Investigate and determine cause of faulty work and consult/advise as to corrective measure.
- Develop/Implement process initiatives.
- Maintain proper documentation and records.
- Promote and maintain a safe work environment.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
- Responsible for continuous improvement.
- Knowledgeable of back-up systems and procedures.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Warehouse experience required.
- Automotive experience a plus.
- 2+ years leading/directing hourly personnel.
- Ability to train others on process and procedures.
- Able to pass Company’s forklift certification program
- Good communications skills, both verbal and written.
- Work flexible and overtime hours as necessary.
