Overview:
Here we grow again! CVCFL Cardiovascular Centers is seeking a professional Pacemaker Technician for a growing Cardiovascular office. The technician will provide patient care activities to support patients with cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIED) under the direction of the supervising Cardiologist.
Must have training from a device school (PrepMD or ATI) or direct experience with interrogation and programing of Pacemakers and ICDs
Salary will commensurate with experience.
Requirements:
*High School Diploma or Equivalent
Must have training from a device school (PrepMD or ATI) or direct experience with interrogation and programing of Pacemakers and ICDs
*Current Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) or Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT) status
*Current BLS and ACLS Certification
*Basic HIPAA Knowledge
*Previous Experience Preferred

Duties and skills:
- Identifying pacemaker capture, sensing and basic heart rhythms
- Evaluating and reviewing remote downloads of cardiac devices
- Managing remote device transmissions and accurately charting and reporting on pacemaker device performance
- Monitor patients' vital signs during procedures and report any abnormalities
- Ensure aseptic technique is followed to prevent infection
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Educate patients on procedures and provide support and reassurance throughout the process
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to cardiovascular procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
