Notice of your right to limit the use of your sensitive personal information

CCPA provides users the right to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information beyond what is necessary to perform the services as reasonably expected by users and those other activities allowed under the CCPA and its regulations. How do I limit the use of my sensitive personal information?

Instructions on how to limit additional potential uses of sensitive personal information can be found below:

• Specific location data - In some situations, SimplyHired collects and uses specific location data (such as phone GPS from the SimplyHired app) that is either not required to use SimplyHired products or its collection is entirely out of our hands.

      6. To allow approximate location but not precise location, instead, toggle off the switch next to “Precise geolocation”.

Why am I being asked to delete my account?

How we transfer data is integral to our core products and services that help job seekers build great resumes and find great jobs. At this time, we are not able to provide our core products and services without these transfers. However, you can still use SimplyHired to find jobs to the extent that you wish!

Can I still use SimplyHired after deleting my account?

If you submit the request to opt out and delete your account, you will still be able to access the services we offer on our site that do not require us to collect and transfer your email address. You may always register a new account or sign up to receive job alerts.

Is it possible these practices will change?

SimplyHired is carefully watching the State of California and its Attorney General for any new interpretations of the CCPA or California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).
