Community Healthcare Network is seeking for a Full-Time Behavioral Health Therapist who will work as an integral part of the Behavioral Health treatment team providing clinical treatment services under the direction of the Behavioral Health Director and treating Psychiatrist. These services include comprehensive assessments, diagnosis, preparation and implementation of the treatment plan.
We are currently seeking Behavioral Health Therapists for our Health Centers based in Brooklyn, Bronx, Manhattan, and Queens.
Key Information:
- Job Type: 35 Hours per week (Full-time).
- Compensation: ranges between $67,777k -$83,583/ annually based on educational credentials and experience.
- CHN is a qualifying employer under the federal government’s Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program.
- Excellent Benefits and PTO package:
- Vacation accrual is 15 days per year which increases to 20 days per year after one year of employment.
- 4 Personal Days per year.
- 9 Holidays per year.
- One paid Sick Leave day per month (12 Sick Leave Days annually). Unused portions of Sick Leave get carried over from year-to-year and can be built up to 60 days.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides assessment and screening services to individuals interested in becoming participants in the mental health program.
- Conducts intake and psycho-social assessments.
- Provides treatment services to a caseload of 30-50 clients, the caseload number being based on the following factors: show rate, modalities provided (i.e. individual therapy only, group and individual therapy) and maintaining weekly utilization/billing targets.
- Evaluates assessments and makes diagnoses.
- Develops and implements treatment plans according to OMH standards.
- Participates in regular clinical supervision to discuss cases.
- Develops and maintains clinical records, in accordance to OMH standards.
- Ensures that patients receive coordinated and related services.
- Participates in case conferences with case management staff and other members of the clinical team.
- Meets with consulting psychiatrist in the development of the treatment plan and to obtain direction.
- Provides cases intervention, which could include home visits, escorting clients to emergency room, assisting in the development of plan for clients at risk for suicide/homicide.
What We Look For:
- M.S.W Degree required with a LMSW or LCSW.
- Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred.
