Job Summary
This position is responsible for preparing accounting information to assist in producing financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles in accordance with the mission, core values and purposes of Elite365. This includes developing, implementing and/or maintaining one or a combination of generally accepted accounting systems. Prepare and analyze financial reports, journal entries, maintain and reconcile ledger accounts. Provide record of assets, liabilities, and other financial transitions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Sage Intact software experience strongly preferred
- Performing basic accounting procedures, e.g., journal entries, G/L, and inventory control
- Preparing financial statements, monthly and quarterly financial reports, weekly forecasts to Management Team summarizing current and projected financial position
- Month end and quarterly closing (e.g., balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements)
- Analyzing and reconciling general ledger accounts in conjunction with preparing reports for management
- Assisting Controller with annual financial audits and tax returns by serving as company liaison with auditors
- Analyzes account activity and reconciles all accounts.
- Producing financial data for management team upon request and assisting with other special Accounting projects from time to time
- Performing analysis of operations on a monthly basis
- Provides technical advice and service and provides advice on complex accounting matters.
- Assists with the review of payroll time and attendance as needed.
- Directs and monitors compliance of corporate policies, procedures, and legal regulations by applying knowledge of company policy and Federal and State laws and regulations.
- Collects and analyzes data to measure the effectiveness of product lines.
- Establishes and maintains effective and supportive business relationships with all levels of management and his/her staff to ensure business strategy, goals and results are achieved.

Minimum Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
· Three or more years progressive accounting experience
· Experience in private equity work environment preferred.
· Strong organization, oral and written communication skills
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines
· Strong computer aptitude, which includes expertise with Microsoft Suite as well as experience with accounting software, Sage Intacct experience preferred.
· Analytical skills with particular attention to detail
