The Financial Coach is responsible for providing financial education and individual/family financial coaching for program participants and identifies resources in the community to assist and encourage financial stability. Will also work on Housing Stability Plans to assist participants obtain or maintain permanent housing.
Qualifications
BA Degree in Business Administration, Financing, Social Services or other related field.
Financial Coaching Certificate highly preferred.
Knowledge of community resources, advocacy and networking skills.
Ability to work families and individuals as a representative of the agency.
Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communications skills.
Computer literate
Experience working with low income, minority and inner city populations.
Requirements
1. Current T.B. Clearance
2. Pre-Employment and Examination Clearance
3. A Criminal Record (fingerprints) clearance is be required
4. Valid California Driver’s License & Current Auto Policy
5. Have own transportation and clean DMV record
