Ibex Experts is actively seeking an experienced dispatch professional to join our Fleet department for light automotive and administrative support.

Overview of Duties:
- Receive and analyze incoming transportation requests and determine the most efficient routes for delivery
- Dispatch drivers to assigned locations using GPS and other tracking systems
- Communicate with drivers to provide instructions, updates, and any necessary information
- Monitor driver progress and address any issues or delays that may arise
- Coordinate with shipping and receiving departments to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Utilize transportation planning software to optimize routes and maximize efficiency
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including driver logs, delivery schedules, and customer information
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in dispatching or related field preferred
- Familiarity with phone systems and other communication tools
- Ability to analyze information and make quick decisions based on changing circumstances
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in using GPS and other tracking systems
- Knowledge of 3PL (third-party logistics) operations is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of transportation planning principles is beneficial
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is a plus
- Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential
