CIS Management, Inc. - Award Winning Property Management Company is presently recruiting for an Administrative Assistant for our Chambers Crescent located in Lakewood.
We are looking for applicants that have Low Income Housing Tax Experience. Looking to gain this experience? Come join us! The Administrative Assistant will assist in the general operation of the property and perform all related administrative functions under the direction of the Property Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide support to the Senior Property Manager by interfacing with residents, vendors and on-site maintenance staff.
- Assisting with resident emergencies
- Entering work order requests into the system
- Answering phones, filing, opening and distributing mail
- Assisting with collections and legal filings
- Updating monthly rent roll for accounting
- Assisting with resident activities and monthly meetings.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Senior Property Manager, 5 days per week including weekends as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 1-2 years' Administrative Experience
- Section 8 and Afforable Housing - HIGHLY PREFERRED
- Experience in Property Management - HIGHLY PREFERRED
- Strong background in administrative duties, including, but not limited to, the ability to work in a small and fast-paced office environment with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills
- Previous experience working with various levels of management and personalities
- Customer-service oriented with friendly demeanor
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Yardi Voyager a plus
- High School Graduate or Equivalent
