Sunrise Mechanical is seeking to fill an immediate full-time entry level office clerk/backup receptionist position. The ideal office clerk/backup receptionist has strong Excel experience, is reliable, motivated, hard-working, organized and eager to learn.
RESPONSIBILITIES: (include yet not limited to)
- Heavy data entry into Excel spreadsheets and our accounting program
- Scan, copy, sort and file
- Backup receptionist (daily) which consists of answer multi-line phone systems in a timely manner, screen and transfer calls to the appropriate person or department and greet visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor
- Assist with managing incoming/outgoing mail (bring in/out, stamp with postage)
- Assist other departments with administrative tasks as needed
- Other office duties as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge in Word, Excel, Outlook
- Type 40+ words per minute, ten key by touch
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
- Reliable and punctual
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Must be able to work for long periods of time while maintaining attention to detail
- Must be able to sit at a table or desk for long periods of time with occasional standing, walking, squatting or reaching
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 25 pounds with or without material handling equipment
- Must have the manual dexterity to use office equipment including yet not limited to a copier, computer keyboard or phone keypad
