We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and resourceful individual to join our Client Services team as a Web Development Project Manager. As a part of our team, you will work hand in hand with our Client Services and Web Development teams to implement and execute website strategies for our healthcare, nonprofit and political clients across the country. The Web Development Project Manager will develop and maintain web projects, tasks and timelines while coordinating with each team to ensure project goals and objectives are met.
Desired experience includes a background in project management and web development, exceptional attention to detail, the ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities, and the ability to adapt and grow with the position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Highly detailed work in managing implementation of website projects from design to launch
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and within scope of outlined statement of work
- Work closely with design and development teams to communicate project challenges and scope to clients
- Ability to successfully maintain multiple projects and tasks
- Assist with the creation and purchase of client tools such as GoogleWorkspace, donation platform set-up, domains and DNS record placement
- Analyze and report client web statistics (site traffic analytics)
- On occasion make simple edits to websites using the page builder/ WYSIWYG
- Conducting trainings for clients on how to edit and maintain their websites
- Conceptualize, discuss and communicate complex technical concepts to clients
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in WordPress
- Experience web design UX/UI
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS
- Experience with DNS
- Experience with Google Analytics
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- 2-3 years of complex project management experience
- 2-3 years of experience with web development projects
- Availability to work on-site in our Salt Lake City office
- Exceptional communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Self-motivated with the ability to identify and address issues or improvements
- A positive attitude in a collaborative office environment
- Proactive learner
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional organization, time management, and prioritization skills
Preference will be given to applicants with any of the following qualifications:
- Working with HTML, WYSIWYG editors, domains/DNS placement and/or content management platforms (e.g. Wordpress, MailChimp, ConstantContact, etc.)
- Complex project management experience
- Ability to conceptualize, discuss and communicate complex technical concepts to clients
- Graphic design management for websites
- An understanding of responsive web design and basic UX/UI
- Online advertising platforms including AdWords, Bing/Microsoft, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
- Reporting metrics and tools such as Google Analytics
Salary and benefits are competitive and commensurate with experience. This position is full-time and on-site in Salt Lake City, UT.
