As an Architectural Project Coordinator, you will play a central role in our operations, acting as the primary contact point for our clients. You will manage work approvals from building management, respond to inquiries from building architects, coordinate with subcontractors, and provide thorough guidance to clients about their project requirements. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, proficiency in administrative processes and bureaucratic procedures, and a solid understanding of architecture and building permits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main client contact, manage inquiries, set clear expectations regarding work progress, and provide regular updates.
- Secure work approvals from building management, including reviewing alteration agreements, obtaining necessary documents, and submitting approval packages.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, coordinating necessary documents.
- Respond to architectural review letters, addressing any concerns or queries from the building's architect regarding the project's specifics.
- Consult customers on their project needs, advising on necessary permits, providing insights into the filing process.
- Review architectural plans, specifications, and project documentation, identify necessary changes with a keen eye for detail.
- Coordinate team activities, delegate tasks, monitor workload, set deadlines, and encourage a productive team dynamic.
- Manage and update CRM/project-related software to maintain accurate and up-to-date records
Qualifications:
- A solid understanding of NYC building codes, zoning regulations, and permit requirements.
- Proficiency in interpreting architectural drawings.
- A proven record in a similar role, particularly one requiring interaction with building management.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, efficiently managing and tracking multiple projects and activities simultaneously.
- An advanced degree in construction, architecture, or a related field is a plus.

Pay: $62,244.00 - $88,852.00 per year
