This position is responsible for implementing & overseeing benefit technology platforms, processing updates as well as managing those systems for open enrollment, on behalf of clients. The position will be reporting to the Administrative Services Practice Lead.

Oversee benefit platform configuration or implement benefit module/platform projects, including open enrollments across multiple benefit administration platforms, such as but not limited to; PlanSource, Workday, UKG, Paylocity, ADP Workforce Now & Rippling.

Act as subject matter expert for assigned benefit administration platforms and ensure accurate benefit plan set up.

Set project expectations with client and service team and routinely provide status updates regarding implementation and/or open enrollment work.

Collaborate with internal service teams to understand and gather plan details, and effectively communicate plans and other requirements to vendors or within an online tool during an implementation.

Ensure accuracy of the client communications as it pertains to the benefits administration platform.

Participate in weekly calls with vendors, internal teams, and clients as necessary during projects.

Prepare benefit administration portals for open enrollment which may include plan builds, updating rates, contributions, and summaries.

Perform initial testing of systems to ensure accurate configuration and functionality, communicate with client and service teams about testing process and availability.

Respond to feedback from client or service team; escalate issues to the vendor for resolution with the client; follow up to ensure resolution in a manner that satisfies the client while meeting business objectives.

Oversee new electronic data interface (EDI) from beginning to end, where needed initiate implementation of EDI by gathering EDI contacts, and overseeing testing process between carrier and vendor, until completion.

Perform other duties and assist with special projects as assigned.

5 years of recent experience project managing benefit technology implementations and open enrollments across various platforms.

3+ years of direct experience using one or more of the following benefit administration platforms: PlanSource, Workday, , UKG, Paylocity, ADP Workforce Now & Rippling.

Employee benefits background or knowledge of group insurance products required.

Excellent communication skills: written, public speaking and presentation preparation.

Excellent customer service skills, professionalism, and tact.

Ability to learn and adopt the use of technology systems and software applications.

Proficient use of Microsoft Office and advanced complexities of features.

The pay range for this position in California, Washington, Colorado and New York at the commencement of employment is expected to be between $94,400 to $118,000/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
