**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented HR/Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support and ensure efficient operation all Administrative and HR/Benefit functions for each of our 11 locations. Role will likely start with 20-30 hours per week and ramp up to full time over the course of a year or so.
**Responsibilities:**
State/Tax/Gov Regulations:
- Creating LLC, new tax accounts, all new business legal setups for new entities
- Liquor license renewals and applications for new liquor licenses
- Business renewals and annual filings of reports and payments
- Coordinating unemployment notices and account updates
- Coordinate leave management including FMLA and workers' compensation claims
HR/Benefits Coordination:
- Oversee benefits administration and assist employees with benefit inquiries
- Health insurance plan management and administrative tasks
- Retirement account facilitation and annual management
- Help assist in employee relations issues and provide guidance on policies and procedures
- Assist and facilitate employee surveys for performance tracking
Payroll:
- Be responsible for all aspects of payroll administration and oversight for each entity
- Review and approve bi-weekly payroll to produce accurate payments.
- Tracking vacation/paid time off for eligible employees
- Receive, enter, answer, and maintain (including filing) garnishments in accordance with federal and state requirements.
- Maintain filing system for employee new hire paperwork and suppporting documents
Miscellaneous:
- Manage mail and notices from all business entities
- Help plan and organize company meetings, travel, and occasional events
- Expense report management and issuing reimbursement checks when necessary
- Keep detailed reminder calendar for key dates for lease obligations and business renewals
- Setup email and phone accounts for new employees
- Writing and paying expenses via checks
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in order entry systems and Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of ADP preferred
- Self starter, function with limited direction
- Not affected negatively by busy work or mundane tasks
This position offers the opportunity to work remotely, with likely monthly/quarterly meetings with ownership to continue to improve on operations.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
