The Community Health Impact Coalition is recruiting a part-time Communications Assistant to help implement communications projects and strategies, draft and edit materials and communications copy, and collect data for reporting. Community Health Impact Coalition is making professional community health workers (CHWs) the norm worldwide by changing guidelines, funding, and policy. We research to equip international norm setters with evidence. We advocate to influence global financing institutions. And we activate in-country CHW networks to win proCHW national policy. CHIC includes CHWs and global health organizations in 40 countries. We exist because CHWs work. Our vision is quality care for all, including those who provide it.
Core Responsibilities:

Support the routine delivery of the communications strategy and workplan.

Draft day-to-day posting for our social media platforms, following an established content calendar.

Support production of our regular mailers and newsletters with content sourcing and editing.

Drafting web copy and blogs.

Support development of external-facing communications collateral and creative content for campaigns with copy drafting, rebranding and editing.

Act as a brand support, reworking assets and supporting colleagues in brand application across decks and documents.

Support monitoring and evaluation by collating analytics across owned platforms.

In line with the above, ad hoc support of planning and execution of external events; helping to draft talking points, assets and social content.

Position Information:

Term: Initial three month contract with an expected 40 hours a month and opportunity to extend based on performance

Location: Remote, with minimum 3 hours overlap with UTC+1

Reports to: Senior Communications Manager

Compensation: $25-35/hour, based on experience (Grade 1, Band 1-2) and cost of living.
