As we continue to grow, we seek a motivated and results-driven Conference Sales Representative to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and target potential sponsors through market research, industry analysis, and networking.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to attract new sponsors to our conferences.
- Conduct outbound sales calls and emails to present sponsorship opportunities and secure commitments.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing sponsors, ensuring their satisfaction and maximizing retention.
- Act as the main point of contact for sponsors, addressing their needs, inquiries, and providing excellent customer service.
- Regularly communicate with sponsors to update them on event details, promotional opportunities, and other relevant information.
- Prepare compelling sponsorship proposals that showcase the value and benefits of partnering with our conferences.
- Customize proposals based on the unique needs and objectives of each potential sponsor.
- Collaborate with the event team to help develop promotional materials and campaigns highlighting sponsorship opportunities.
- Coordinate with the events team to ensure seamless execution of sponsor-related activities during conferences.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from four four-year college or university
- At least five years of experience in conference or event sales, with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for sales and exceeding goals.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with the conference and events industry is a plus.
Compensation: This position offers a competitive hourly rate along with a commission structure based on performance and sales achievements.
