Opportunity for energetic, child-friendly, RN to work with special needs child requiring One On One care for the duration of the school year. You would be required to be available for transportation with the child.
This is considered a full-time position that will require a RN to care for the child during their school day 5 days a week.
The RN will accompany the child to and from school during school hours.
Childcare/pediatric experience a plus.
Responsibilities include:
Implement plan of care and treatment using sound judgment and critical thinking
Provide accurate, detailed, and timely documentation consistent with the plan of care and the nursing process
Treat clients, family, and staff with courtesy and respect
One On One Care
Assist with transportation
Observation of Child's safety wile being transported on the bus from child's residence to school in Talbot County.
Requirements
Graduated from National League of Nursing accredited practical or vocational school of nursing
Unencumbered license as a Practical or Vocational Nurse in the state of Maryland
One (1) year of nursing experience required; three (3) years preferred.
Certified CPR and demonstrate strong clinical skills
Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance
Negative TB test or chest x-ray
Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality
Working with children is a plus
