National Consulting Partners (NCP) is seeking an experienced Program Manager to manage a large-scale program, encompassing multiple projects. Tasks may include planning, initiating, managing, executing, and closing out small- and large-scale programs in support of a federal agency’s mission. An ideal candidate for this role will have at least 6 years of experience as a senior program manager leading a large, diverse team for the Department of Veterans Affairs or another federal agency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the development and updating of the project management plan and associated components including communication management, quality management, staffing management, risk management, work breakdown structure, and organizational knowledge retention and transfer strategy.
- Strategic planning support including assistance with identifying strategic goals, objectives, actions, milestones, measures, risks, and strategic consulting to support growth methodologies and strategies.
- Manage a myriad of concurrent transitions, communication associated with the changes, risk management planning/support, all in accordance with the Prosci Change Management Framework.
- Developing and updating a communications and stakeholder engagement plan.
- Development and presentation of a program management consolidated monthly report to executive leadership.
Requirements:
- Masters and 10+ years of Program/Project Management experience or Bachelors and 15+ years of Program/Project Management experience.
- Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Familiarity with the standard operations of the Veterans Health Administration (VHA).
- Demonstrated successful engagement with senior leadership of large organizations.
- Experience managing contracts for a federal agency including working with the Contracting Officer and Contracting Officer's Representative.
- Robust experience managing complex projects via SharePoint.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

Pay: $160,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
