Position Description:
As the Emergency Vehicle Upfit Technician, you play a crucial role in the preparation and installing of the lights, cameras, consoles and safety equipment on public safety vehicles. Salary Range: $23-$32 hourly depending on experience
Essential Functions

Preparation and installation of warning lights, flashers, spotlights and area lights

Preparation and installation of consoles, computer mounts, and equipment trays

Preparation and installation of safety equipment, storage systems, lockboxes, and firearm mounts

Overtime availability during
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and safety standards

Keeps work area and shop clean and orderly

Required Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent
- Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics

Valid Class D Driver’s License
Preferred Experience:

Previous upfitting experience preferred
