SUMMARY: Support the design and analysis of engineering projects. The Engineering department is in charge of developing
test equipment and technical data to create new capabilities.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Create projects for fabrication of test equipment.
- Review engineering specifications, drawings, and engineering artifacts to propose design modification.
- Use background knowledge to research for materials and equipment costs.
- Create technical drawings, assembly drawings, and Bill of materials.
- Comply with ARINC 668.
- Assess and provide technical directions based on findings.
- Provide technical guidance as needed.
- Stay current on product technical and regulatory changes.
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 4+ years of relevant/technical work experience OR
- or an additional 3 years of specific work experience in lieu of degree.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules
of composition, and grammar.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- Master’s degree
- 7+ years of electrical engineering work experience
- CAD experience (Solidworks, Inventor, or AutoCAD).
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to evaluate and solve complex technical problems.
- Ability to work in a flexible team environment.
- Ability to work independently.
