GoodVision USA is in search of its next Executive Director to lead our small but dedicated team into new growth. The new Executive Director will offer fresh insight and direction to implement strategic plans, grow community and donor engagement, and work collaboratively to advance worldwide vision projects. The Executive Director will oversee an annual budget of over $400K, work with and report to the Board of Directors, and collaborate with an energetic staff of two and multiple volunteers.
Full-time, remote position (preferably Eastern time zone)
The Executive Director is responsible for leading, directing, and managing the organization in a manner consistent with the mission, vision, and values of GoodVision USA and doing so in a fiscally responsible and ethically sound manner.
Responsibilities:
- Support Board of Directors with development and execution of strategic plan
- Prepare and review grant applications, grant budgets, and funder reports
- Maintain relationships and communications with all donors and supporters
- Oversee management of donor and supporter database (CRM)
- Collaborating withTreasurer in creation and review of organization’s financial and donation-related reports
- Create and implement marketing, communications and fundraising projects
- Maintain profile listings and rating compliance with non-profit charity organizations
- Supervise conception, writing, review, publication, and distribution of Annual Report
- Manage organization activity and deadline calendar
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and reporting requirements, including tax filings, employment laws, and non-profit governance standards.
Qualifications:
- Interest in shaping a small emerging non profit
- Bachelor’s degree and master’ degree preffered, but not required
- Creative and dependable, team player who is passionate about the vision, mission, and goals of GoodVision USA
- Experience with nonprofit leadership, nonprofit fundraising, or foundations and financial management
- Strong networking, organizatonal, and communication skills
- Available for 5%-10% domestic and international travel
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office products , CRM management,
