Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in personal assistance, legal receptionist duties, and general administrative tasks. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to our team and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing calendars
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Maintain and organize files, both physical and computerized
- Assist with proofreading documents for accuracy and completeness
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Provide support to our paralegals as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent proofreading and attention to detail skills
- Proficient computer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience in law office setting is a plus
