The Information Services Sr. Network Engineer is accountable for the integrity and security of the Company’s data network, computer equipment and software. This includes the planning and engineering of Company’s data network and computer equipment, coordinating and supervising the installation and maintenance of the Company’s data network, computer equipment and software, and proactively maintaining and monitoring the security of the Company’s data network and computer equipment. The Information Services Sr. Network Engineer also provides high-level technical support to other Company departments for Information Technology related issues. Must exercise discretion and independent judgment, on behalf of the Information Services Department and the Company, when investigating, gathering, and summarizing information to provide accurate and concise recommendations on equipment and procedures that will provide the best possible service and be most cost effective. Access and exposure to highly sensitive documents, material and conversations requires strict confidentiality.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
DAILY
· Accountable for the integrity and security of the Company’s data network, computer equipment and software.
· Proactively maintain and monitor the security of the Company’s data network, computer equipment and all connected peripherals to prevent unauthorized use and damage of the data network, equipment and/or data.
· Conduct security audits for all networks and devices.
· Coordinate and supervise the installation, maintenance and repair of the Company’s data network, computer equipment and software.
· Provide high-level technical support and planning assistance to other Company departments for Information Technology related issues, such as Internet, DSL, data networking, etc.
· Provide technical support and assistance to other IS personnel.
· Responsible for the performance and conduct of subordinate personnel. This includes proper training to perform the functions of their job, notifications of all policies and procedures, and stringent monitoring to ensure all company policies and procedures are followed.
· Proactive involvement in the Company’s Safety Program, including compliance with all rules and regulations, and for continuously practicing safety while performing their duties.
· Proactive involvement of all staff in the Company’s ongoing customer satisfaction programs
PERIODIC
· Coordinate the routine maintenance of the Company’s data network, computer equipment and software.
· Planning and engineering of the Company’s data network and computer equipment and recommend enhancements and/or upgrades to the IS Director, as necessary.
· Conduct security and vulnerability deep scans for all networks and devices.
· Support the Maintenance of company servers and pcs.
· Support the maintenance of the Company’s Internet site.
· Assist with the budgeting and planning for all the Companies hardware & software.
· Assist other department personnel in formulating and generating required reports, analysis, and documents as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
· High school diploma or equivalent
· 4-year college or vocational degree in Information Services/Data Processing/related field or equivalent in technical experience.
· Appropriate industry certifications. (MCSE, CCNP/CCIE, CISSP, Security+, PenTest+)
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
· Working knowledge of computer hardware including workstation and Server hardware installation and maintenance.
· Computer literate with emphasis on Microsoft Office
· Proficiency in reading and developing as-built prints and full documentation.
· Functional knowledge of Enterprise/Datacenter Equipment
· Functional knowledge of Enterprise/Datacenter cabling parameters
· Advanced level knowledge of cybersecurity and standards surrounding it.
· Expert level of knowledge of one or more operating systems, including Microsoft, VMware ESXi, Nutanix HCI & AHV, UNIX and LINUX for server and workstations. Working knowledge of others.
· Expert level knowledge to design, install, configure, manage, secure, and optimize NAC, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, RIP, Static Routing, EIGRP, EVPN, VOIP, wireless, multi-site redundantly connected networks.
· Cisco ISE, IOS, XE, XR, Umbrella, Duo, AMP, ESA, WSA, ASR, Cloud, Orchestrator, SecureX.
· Complete understanding and design capability of the OSI protocol stack, LAN/WAN protocols, VLANS, router operating systems.
· Knowledge and understanding of Fiber Optic transport systems.
· Experience in developing and implementing TCP/IP, IPv4, IPv6 networks.
· Strong understanding of basic DC and AC electronics with ability to design power systems based on usage and consumption projections.
· Expert knowledge of a reasonable set of applications such as Microsoft M365, Teams, Office, SQL server, Exchange, Veeam, collaboration software and Internet technology such as IIS, PHP, Apache, and related technologies.
· Ability to manage, configure and troubleshoot cross platform directory services.

WORK EXPERIENCE
· 15 years diverse experience in Information Services/Data Processing including PC & Server installation and maintenance, LANs network maintenance and various PC & Server operating systems.
· 8-10 years Network Administration
· 5 years Server & System Administration
· Team lead experience desirable.
· Telephony experience desired, preferably in the Information Services/Data Processing field.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
GENERAL OFFICE CONDITIONS
Exposure to an air-conditioned/heated office environment with moderate noise levels generated by the equipment. However, travel conditions from one office location to another can result in exposure to outside elements ranging from extreme cold/heat/humidity/rain/snow
